"Minutes after opening time on Tuesday morning, three motorbikes pulled up at a side entrance to London's iconic Brent Cross shopping centre.

"The three riders and their three pillion passengers were all dressed in black, with black crash helmets and visors covering their faces.

"The number plates on their powerful machines had been removed and replaced with cardboard signs indicating bike numbers 1, 2 and 3.

"The man on bike number one gunned his engine, nodded to those on bikes two and three, and shouted: 'Let the fun begin'!"
