"Shocking CCTV footage released today by police shows the moment shoppers are confronted by a helmet-clad smash-and-grab gang raiding a Brent Cross shop.
"Pictures of three high powered bikes recovered by police were also released in a bid to trace their drivers.
"The daring theft took place at Fraser Hart jewellers, inside Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
"The motorbikes used by the gang were dumped in Mill Hill shortly after the raid which took place around 10.15am on Tuesday."
